Discovery Chemscience is seeking qualified chemists to join our fast growing team.
Senior Research Scientist:
The successful candidate should have a Ph.D. degree in organic chemistry or related scientific disciplines. Excellent M.S. degree holders with more than 3 years hands on experience in synthetic organic chemistry will also be considered. Strong background in organic chemistry with a solid understanding of organic synthesis and reaction mechanisms is a must. The candidate must demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, good work ethic, and excellent communication skills. Ability to manage several research projects at a time is required. The candidate should also have a proven record of significant contributions to research projects. Experience in leading synthetic organic research group is highly preferred.
Research Scientist:
The successful candidate will have an M.S. degree in organic chemistry or related scientific disciplines. B.S. degree candidates with more than 3 years hands on experience in synthetic organic chemistry will also be considered. The candidate must have strong problem-solving skills and work ethic, good documentation and communication skills, as well as an attention to detail. The successful candidate must have the ability to work in a fast paced working environment. Experimental skills and strong working knowledge of modern synthetic reactions and laboratory techniques (milligram to 500 gram scale) are required. Experience in total synthesis of natural products or complex medicinal molecules is highly preferred.
Research Associate:
The position requires a B.S. degree in Chemistry with 0-2 years experience in a synthetic organic chemistry lab. Previous industrial or academic chemistry experience in the synthesis, purification and characterization of small organic compounds is required.
The candidate will need to demonstrate good knowledge of organic chemistry and modern analytical techniques.
All successful candidates must be self-motivated, have positive attitudes, and a willingness to learn and work well in a group environment as well as independently.
